    me looking for half-submerged plants such as Aquatic Cabomba (cabamba aquatic)etc???

    anyone has them? : )

    me setting up a newt tank and looking for such plants...

    I don't quite recall any plant that is called half submerged. Perhaps you mean emmersed plants, right?

    Emmersed Plants- Grow above water
    Submersed Plants-Grow under water

    You probably want to try hardy plants such as anubias nanas for your newts tank setup.Good luck anyhow.

    are you thinking of plants which have roots in the water and leaves that either float on the water (e.g. small water lilies, cabomba) or grow out of it?

    Assuming your newt tank is only going to be half filled with water, there are countless choices. Echinodorus species (sword plants), Anubias species, Hygrophilas, Ludwigias, mosses and ferns are some of the plants which like to have their roots in water, but will grow emmersed leaves when they reach and poke through the surface.
