anyway, pretty much what everyone said above. My HC was doing well during DSM... until the fungus hit...
i had no problems with temperature... my HC was growing in 28 to 30+ deg temperature... perhaps some folks are confused with moss?
also, planting HC on Gex substrate is a bloody pain in the ***... the substrate is too coarse, so any small strands of HC will easily become dislodged...
severely irritating...
