shove the thingy into the cabinet?![]()
diaphragms are use in most airpump and can wear off producing high motoring sound, is there anywhere in singapore that actually has spare diaphragms to be change?
After prolong period air pump sounds like a motor chunning away in the night. Hope to actually diffuse the noise level.
Any ideal what can be done?
Cheers!

shove the thingy into the cabinet?![]()
Well i did open up every single component to have a look and it's just wear and tear that causes the noise. Basically if there is replacement for the rubber, it'll not sound so loud. Cheaper in the long run i'll say.
It's not me for having such an attitude "shove it up my cabinet". I rather understand why is it like that and see if there is any possibilities that will resolve it.
shoving everything into the cabinet doesn't help. I've seen replacements of rubber overseas but not here locally that is why i'm asking.
If you don't have a better reply to this, i rather you not waste BW it's expensive![]()

I suggest not to sound too aggressive in a forum, it may spark off a chain reaction. No offence...[----------------

BTW, I have seen many places selling the rubber diaphram...almost everywhere....serangoon north, near my place bedok north and many other place..
Just ask around, it look like a rubber cup, however your type has to be the common type, where it is easily available, I only manage to see 2-3 types for sale.
Point noted , i'll try my best not to spark off any flamable words in anyway unless the latter is trying to spark it off in the first place.
Thanks for the tip.

wow....no intent to spark off a war bros.....just trying to offer some help![]()
Bene.. try using silicon to seal it up ? My pump has this hole at the bottom.. Thats the area which gives out alot of this unwanted noise.. i was contemplating to silicon it up ?
Thanks & Regards,
Trevor
Isn't that hole meant for drawing air into the pump??

Don't be confuse that air is being suck in and pump out. It's the rubber constant movement that creates air to supply to the pipes. If the whole unit is vacuum i'm not sure if it still works well.
