Shrimp eat CO2 tablets

Hi, i recently realise my shrimps likes the co2 tablets and always pick on them is there any harm it can do to the shrimps?

You using the CO2 tablet to feed your shrimp or your plant? If plant, then I would say it's definitely useless.

Ya definately not a problem i think , any way fishes/shrimps also take in certain % of CO2 so dont worry

Ur shrimp starts eating ur co2 tablet then isn't it useless cuz no co2 for ur plants?

You mean the CO2 tablet that dissolve in water is useless for plants?
Coz i tried , it kind of turn murky and cloudy residue after that

i had problem with co2 tablets also. it does not really dissolve, it turns into flakes and everywhere in my tank is full of the undissolved tablet.

but i am sure you have filter, place them in the filter will do the work, i am using those waterfall type filter, no problem, but i changed to use co2 canister, tablet i only use when co2 canister runs out so i use tablet. it says tablet dissolve in 2 hour.
so i guess after 2 hour+++ the co2 will be lessen.
guess co2 tablet no use for long run. thats what i thought :P

Yea does anyone did try to measure with Co2 checker when dosed with Co2 Tablet?
The CO2 doesnt dissolve in any hour !
I tested in a jar of water, it does not break down in a week and made the water flaky with white stuff

But again I bought a packet of CO2 pretty cheap like few bucks
But for O2 tablet, its expensive, one tablet could cost a packet of CO2
