1) Ludwigia inclinata var. verticillata "Cuba"
Is this plant available at other places such as teo?
----------------
Looks the same as the normal inclinata...
I was worry and hesitate that I buy a normal plant for $15. So in the end I never buy lor... But the plant seems to be a bit yellowish and the leaves seems like a bit narrower..... Btw anybody buy?
it looks like ludwigia sp 'cuba' this is the yellow var., rather that the ludwigia sp 'pantal' which is the red var.
I spoke to Ole the technical guy at the Tropica booth. He said up to 28°C is still ok for Hermianthus callitricoides. More CO2 and slightly more light should help.

Anyone wanna interested in trading the tropica plants? I only need 1 stalk? [----------------

Wat is Echinodorus Red special? Can explain? How cum u guys knows so much abt new types of plants. Where u get the infos? I 'm interested. Can share.
Hi guys!
I went to take a look at my Denerlle planted tank handbook and was rather astonished to see that Hermianthus callitricoides is actually a variant of Hemianthus Micranthemoides or pearlweed[zheng(1) zhu(1) cao(3)]! The only difference is that it's from Cuba. My concern now is that this plant will not crawl along the substrate but only grow sideshoots. If that's the case, how to form a low and lush carpet in the foreground?!?!? Anyone out there can shed some light on this? Thanks!
Cheers!
I bought 2 pots of the plant too. Was removing the packing wool and examining the underside of the plant. There are roots on the side growth too, so I'd guess that it'll crawl like glosso.
Here's a link to a tankful of Hemianthus callitrichoides.

I missed the Tropica plt book that was selling at $15! Anyone bought extra copies to trade? How does the cover look like and is it a recommended book for plant tank newbies?

Click on the "All Galleries" at the top to look at his other tanks. He uses a lot of the plant. There's also a folder of Tropica plants in a shop display. Nice.

Gosh, the tank is simply breathtaking!!!

I went down to Teo today and got some of the same plants at one third of the cost...[] Luckily last minute decided not to go to Aquarama.. save my $8 [
]
Hi all. I'm new to this site. I was at aquarama the other day and bought monoselenium tenerum and hemianthus callitrichoides too. For a whopping 35 bucks!! but anyway, would anyone know of any special methods of planting them? is leaving them in the wool okay?
I'd also like to ask, where is a good place in singapore to buy plants? someone mentioned Teo? Where would that be referring to? I've also heard bout an Oriental that exports from singapore that doesn't sell here though.
So that guy at the tropica booth was ole pederson? I saw people taking pictures with him. He does seem to make some really beautiful tanks.
Thanks!!

There should be two persons at the Tropica booth. The other one like can't really speak English.
As for Teo's farm check out this thread.
