Nice scape, what substrate are you using? the grain look very big

this is called magic soil if im not mistaken...forgotten

wow so nice the roots, care to share where you got them???
the roots seems to have some green algae, looks good.

Hi, nice scape. Is the bolbtis and the narrow java on the ground tied to wood?
This is a very great hard scape. Maybe you can add some crypto wendetii-brown to match the colour of your roots?
Well done

Aquascaper?

thanks guys....tatguy@ some of the ferns i just left it there not tied..others are tied onto small rocks/woods...
peanut8787@ thanks alot...![]()
very nice tank. I love those root arrangement.

Haha thought so. Just some advice, it is better to tie them to at least some wood or rock, and their roots have to be exposed not buried. they would grow better this way. Also if your bolbtis are not the mini version , those in front will most probably over grow and cover the back.

nice set-up. like your roots arrangement.
It looks very natural....i like it.

Impressive. I like this scape. Im thinking of the background needed some picts. But i like it alot.![]()

thanks for the comments guys..will post an update soon...so stay tuned

update:
this tank kinda neglected...till now havent added foreground...bulb one of them spoiled so currently now still 2x36W..will replace the bulb after i get/think of a foreground...any suggestions please?

some japanese hairgrass on the fore ground, planted sparsely.
as for your fishes, i think the tetra is too large for your tank. mosqito boras will be just nice for your scape.
i also find the soil grain too large for your scape.
very nicely done. makes my hands itchy again.

Your scape makes your aquarium looks a whole lot larger than 2". Awesome root arrangement and love the algae coverings too!

thanks guys...maybe might go with eviltrain's suggestion of japanese hairgrass...any other good suggestions?

Mind sharing where u got your roots? They are beautiful. E. Tenellus might also be a good choice for the foreground, or around the sides.

the roots are just a bunch of normal branchces combined to form a root...just have to be creative....planted japanese hairgrass as foreground and removed some plant too
