If you are not preparing a stock solution, just enter a value of "1 ml" to the amount of water to dissolve in to get your desired ppm in the tank.
I have been using commercial liquid fert and intend to switch to tubs of fertilizer bought at Dr Mallick's place. I understand that calculations need to be done but i'm not too sure how to go about calculating the molecular weightage and all.
I was looking at Chuck Gadd's fertilizer calculator and the calculations are done for you,all you need to do is just key in your required N,P,K or Mg and amounts mixed in a solution.This would give you your ppm and you just add accordingly to your water column till you get your desired ppm. This calculator is so much simpler to use but as this is my first time doing it,i thought i just check out with you guys in here if this calculator is reliable?
