Hi guys!
This is my first post on the forums, I have been reading the site extensively for the past 2 weeks as I just set up my first aquriam 3 weeks ago. I have a healthy population of 7 tiger barbs, 4 black tetras, 2 silvery fish (lfs gave me with the tertas which i don't know what they are) and 1 cherax quadricarinatus.
My tank is 2ftx1ftx1ft community, low-tech planted with some driftwood.
My question is does anyone have specific information on how to breed tiger barbs? I have a new 1ft tank coming in which I intend to use as my breeding tank. Is it sufficient or do I require another tank? I read that it is recommended to separte the males and femals and put them on high protein diet of live feed. Does anyone have any pointers to share?
