never grew riccia on the floor only on driftwood, do u use one big piece of mash or just a tiny pience and let the moss spread onto the gravel
maybe u shld chk with nature on how they did it? just ask Mr Chan nicely, most prob he will tell u.
A simple yet natural way to grow carpet moss or riccia is to hold them down with plants like hairgrass or tenellus.
The moss and riccia will soon form thick carpet.

The hobby is much about creativity. Tying to driftwood is what some suppliers like Ah Pek (capricon) does. He ties them to bio ball and meshes too.----------------

Riccia is rootless, as to grow it underwater, you can basically tied/stuff/squeeze it anywhere that holds.

has anyone tried tying the moss to a sponge, how are the results compared to tying to a mash
why sponge??? easier meh???
for mesh...no need to tie at all, just lay it on top of moss...much much more easier...
really don't understand why sponge...
