How can I differentiate between green water and bacteria bloom?
I was thinking I might have green water but now I think it could be bacteria bloom.
So, how do I get rid of bacteria bloom?
I was told to put in Sera Nitivec Biostarter whic I understand is Bacteria. But i was wondering if I am having a bacteria bloom, should I be putting in more bacteria into my tank?
Please advise it's been more than a week that I am having cloudy water.

The Sera stuff, I think, helps kick start the colonisation of nitrifying bacteria. These bacteria need a surface - within the filter media, substrate etc - to colonise. Hence it is unlikely those suspending in the water are actually the bacteria you think they are. Look thru from one end of the tank towards the other end, is it greenish? It's GW if it is.
Is it a new tank setup? The cloudiness could most likely come from your new gravel. Can take a few weeks to clear. Let your filter do the job over time.

Oh sorry. So what info do you need?
It's a three foot tank about 50 gallon. Lighting is about 2.8 watt per gallon.
I did try Daphnia. Problem is I am afraid it's not green water and I am afraid the Daphnia would instead add to the nitrate.
CO2 at 3 bubbles/second. Lighting on for 10 hours daily.
