Frogbit hates new tap water freshly added with anti chlorine, they turn yellow followed by brown and melt away. They prefer aged water.

Hello bros,
I have some frogbits in my office 1ft tank, last week, all frogbits are green, but over the weekend or rather this Monday, I see some of them turned yellowish, the rest of my plant in the tank are green. Received some feedback that it may be not enough lighting. however, I switch the light 24 hours in the office, except during working hours, the lighting are much more stronger, as I have switch on 2 lighting. Any idea why frogbit turned yellowish.

how many watt is your light? and do not turn on 24 hours, plants also need to rest

what fauna is in the tank?

Cut down on the water change volume and let them adapt to the new environment. I'm assuming your lighting is sufficient.

I hve the same problem. I keep them with my discus thinking the planted tank is good with fertilisers as compared with my shrimp tank, it kinda got worse.
