N.Marginatus aka Dwarf pencil , CS.
    N.eques aka rocket pencil, TOH
N.unifastus , Gan. In a wild batch of N.eques or N.unifastus they usually are mix together.
    N.trifasciatus aka Three line pencil , Plantas,C328,CS.

Not over here locally, seen it before, smaller than normal pencil fish . In a school they are stunting little fishes but the prices for a school is pretty high.
    Cheers!

CS Stands for Choong Sua. cost for marginatus and trifasciatus around 3-4bucks per pc.

If anybody wants to get pencilfish please get them in a school of at lease 6. I usually get 20-30 pc as these will help them to adapt better to the tank.
    Cheers!

noticed that my Trifasciatus picks at my brush algae. it basically does a plucking action but i can't really tell if it is really plucking. and from what i know, i dun think Trifasciatus are supposed to be eating brush algae....any comments?

seen that action too, i believe they tend to eat more of green thread algae than brush types.

Anyway CS has a batch of trifasciatus.

    N. marginatus definitely decimates green thread algae.
