Sorry for double posting, but really hope anyone who see this could help me out... very very urgent advice needed to continue my adventure on aqua scaping...
Hi all, I am urgently in need of getting a 1 ft and 2 ft light, for my heavily planted tanks, does anyone know which LFS sells these at reasonable price?( preferably cheap and good) and does anyone know if I can get 2nd hand cheap too? Need both urgently and good enough for tanks with lots plant.
Another issue is I might buy a LED light ( for my 2 ft) if possible. Any brands to recommend and how many tubes do I need? Would appreciate the exact model.( if it's affordable I will get 1 for my 1ft tank too).
appreciate greatly on bros that can guide me here, as I am quite lost on where and what light to buy.( my current led light can't make it, plants dying)

Plant diying can be due to many reason. I do not know about 1ft but for 2ftx1ftx1ft, i will use around 55W to 110W depending on the plant as well as how fast i want them to grow. I try lower W, 24-36w but for experiment purpose, plant grow too slow for my taste.
Bro, any idea where can i go buy the 55w - 110w, with the casing and lights at? and how much does it cost? -by the way, how many tubes you use?
Oh no.. i very urgent to get them liao...
You can get from na or c328, not surw about the price.
55w is 1 tube of pl bulb. 110w is 2 tube. You can also try t5ho 2x24w or 4x24w.
One warning is too much light without proper water parameter will just create more problem
sorry, but what would be the proper water parameter that you speak of? .... thanks alot.. will go source for it soon.
did you try go to seaview check out their range of LED lights? Its a taiwan brand i think. so far i using for my 1.5 feet without co2 and my hairgrass is growing nicely.
Hmm.. sorry to ask but whats the price for their LED lights? - and where is seaview...?
For plant, I'm mainly talking about macro and micro nutrient, trace element and CO2
Ehh.. This is too chim
....
in the nutshell, if you increase the light intensity, you need to increase the fertilizer and CO2 dosing. Otherwise plant grow will stunt and many bad thing will happen such as algae, rotting, etc
Ah... Ok thank you! You help answer alot of my queries! Thanks alot!! I will reset my 2ft tank with all the advice given!
