    hi Cp.

Can reduce till spores cannot bloom.
Are you having a algae starting to bloom or have them becoming a infestation?

You already know the likely cause.

    Hi

All my mosses was once attack by green hair algae, it was a painful experience. No matter how i trimmed, it just reappear. Feeling demoralise, i discarded all my mosses.

Till recently i decide to give it another shot, this time round i reduced my lighting by half and no liquid fert was added. 3 weeks have passed and hopefully these green hair monster don't appears again.

Red nose is definitely better them Yamato in my opinion.. But some of them does nibble plants too.. If you have expensive plants in your tank and you are unlucky to get a few of them who loves plants, then there goes your expensive pot..

From my own RNS, they don't touch mini pelia or any of my moss.. So this shouldn't be of any worry..

    Hi Ark,
I too have this problem. I place the infested plant in a breeder tank with 2 Yamatoes. It will only take 2 to 3 days to see the difference.
