Greetings - New to Aquascaping

Hello!
Newbie here, as i FINALLY managed to register to this website (attempted many months ago and gave up). I am new to aquascaping. I finally decided to upgrade from a disappointing low-tech tank to high tech (very soon), therefore I've been reading intensely from many different websites with many different theories and achievements.
Not to mention many useful information from this website as well.
My background:
Mainly fish since young, such as arowanas, discus, parrot fish, lou han etc..
Had a marine setup (coral + fish) which failed..

And now finally my very own place, it's time to rethink what went wrong!

Currently I have an 89G tank built into cabinet (4ft x 1.5ft x 2.5ft)
Using 4x 54w T5s (but one ballast malfunction)
Eheim external filter
2 fans

For the past few months, I've been experimenting with Low tech, which gave problems that made me do more research and troubleshooting. It helped me understand more in depth to water chemistry, lighting fundamentals etc.
Things are stabilizing and plants reviving / flourishing and I wish to further my journey using Co2 injections.

I hope all the "Sifus" can render help when the need arise!
