Walking back from a Taipei LFS and saw another shop having super sale.
One of the item I grabbed is Jabao Canister Filter 815 model which I never thought of using until I saw the price.
The Flow Rate 1200L/h, 3 layers. Made in China. Not even Taiwan.
Anyone has experience with this item ? [:]

How is the Jeboa performance, especially in noise generation compared to Ehiem? I hate noise.
I just do a test run yesterday night on a pail lah. It still running now ofcourse and will hook to the tank soon. Looks cool.
Hardly hear any sound at all. I think one reason maybe because I tighten the hoses to the Canister very tightly from both sides. Point of I think may break the valve if tighten further.[]
Make sure you lock both hoses to the valve first so that you can lock from both directions before locking the entire assy to the canister tap.
Forget to add the Canister has a manual pump and valve control used primarily for water change. You can use it for flow control too.
However not sure the flow rate is as what advertised but probably good enough for my 2.5 ft. The LFS owner originally recommended a smaller model - 2 layer but later change his mind to a larger one.
sorry no picture. I will post if I am able to get a cam. [:]
I use Jebao 915 for my 2 feet. Very quiet, if there is any noise just pump the self-prime a few time to remove any air in the pump.
That's one more feature of the Pump. Yes it does remove noise.
I am starting to fall for - Value for $. [:]
