Hi, just want to seek some reviews from local user using the above mentioned, Eheim Pro 3 2075.

Intending to upgrade to a 2 tier 3x1x1 feet tank and would like to seek some reviews.
Tank will be connected via Overflow pipings. Will also be running a seperate canister connected to chiller for just one tank.
Considering between Eheim Pro 2 2028 and Eheim Pro 3 2075.

Any bro/sis with the Pro 3 series would like to give a comment on their filters.
Do you all buy double tap and use it together with the filters.

    Regards,
    Jianyuan

2028 is rated at 1050 l/h whereas 2075 is rated at 1250 l/h. If you're intending to run a chiller, the higher the flowrate, the better given how some chillers require a certain flow rate to function properly. Cost between the two however, can be pretty large if I recall correctly. I was quoted a sum around 600 SGD for the 2075 during the last Aquarama. The 2028 should be roughly around half that I believe, for a brand new set. Cost worries aside, depending on your chiller's flow rate requirement, you might have your answer there as to which filter to get.

Where the double taps are concerned, given how the input/output head is detachable, I don't think you have to invest in those. This is entirely your choice however, since you intend to attach the filter to a chiller, so they might come in handy when you need to do maintenance.

Hi bro stormhawk. Many thanks for your input. I will be running a chiller on a seperate filter itself. This extra filter is solely for running the waters. Regarding the price, i believe i saw it at much lower price now. Cheers!
