50cm marimo! That is half a metre....Mine broke down into pieces after some times. Wish they would anchor themselves to my driftwood.
Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and he will drink beer while getting sunburnt.

It's Been 10 Days, Didn't See Riccia Pearling Much, Maybe Still Young,
Maybe Got Disturbed By My Big Cory, Maybe My Water Perimeter Got Something Wrong >.<"
Tonight Going To Try Take Picture Of It :P

I Think Is Submerged. Got It In Pasir Ris Farm, The One That Sells Also Corals. He Grab From his Tank, Riccia Was Floating. He Ask If I Had Anything To Tie To, I Said No, He Find A Wood, Net, Ask Me Tie At Home. Was Charged 4 Bucks For it.
Yes, I Had Canister Co2 At 2 Bps 24/7. Running Since Rebirth. 1 Month Plus Already. The Uncle From Seaview, Ask Me To Be More Lazy And Not Off It At Night. @_@
Newbie On The Road. Pull Me Up, Will Ya?

co2 without light is wasted though... thats why i'm thinking of getting a electrolisis type of CO2 device.. asking in forum still no reply..sigh..
Btw, the riccia is light green right? i saw dark green RICCIA which is submerge type(sink without weight) thinking of getting it but it seems old stock as there are a lot of debris in the plastic cup holder...(SEAVIEW 2 weeks ago)
i'm going seaview later after trading with another member(after work).. going treasure hunt again..LOLbtw, any good Fish/aquaplant Farms apart from Seaview around that area???

get a canister with solenoid. more reliable that electrolysis type. plug the solenoid with your light timer so that when light off solenoid off. or you can use a independent timer and set it to on 1 hour after lights on and off 1 hour before lights off.

Hi Planted86,solenoid set very expensive oh.thats y i'm thinking to go low tech..sigh... the electrolysis type(JEBO if i'm not mistaken) only cost sgd 12 dollar + 10 dollars for the media replacement every 4-6 months depend on usage(according to NA)
you mentioned it is not reliable means??
a) easy spoil?
b) inconsistant CO2?
c) Useless gadget?
have you tried it before? or compared with normal CO2 system? sorry to ask noob question as i'm a NOOB...![]()

Is the plant in the background water wisteria? The plant on the left looks like baby tears, not sure though.. Nice wild scape!

Thanks dr_enigma411
Yes the one behind is water westeria. Trying to let it grow behind to cover the background. But found alot of algae growing yesterday night when i got home. Cut alot of it off.
The left plant id is call baby tear ? Hmmz, i do some search on "baby tear" tomorrow. Hope you are right, i certainly want to know what plant i am keeping. So need to know the plant id.
Thanks again bro.
Newbie On The Road. Pull Me Up, Will Ya?

Yeah from the shape and size it looks very much like baby tears, scientific name will be "Micranthemum Umbrosum". Water Wisteria is a great choice, fast growth and undemanding, certainly helps to control algae growth too.

nice set up. so much to learn about planted tank
