Hey... nice tank... HC looking good. Same question... 2028 in a 30cm cube seems like might cause a whirlpool. Also tank seems to be overstocked.

The 2028 is about 1050l/h so it's highly over-powered. I had to loop it through chiller & fluidize reactor & CO2 reactor chambers, also the CO2 reactor chamber has a controlled output for 1 of the 2 outputs, as such I can adjust the get the right amount of flow for the cube.

It did nip the shrimps when I first introduce it... but nowadays it doesn't touch them anymore... maybe cos it is well fed and also that it's still a juvenile altum.

Need to control the flow using a reactor with control lever. Yes I tend to overstock my tank hehe... that's why I'm using 2028. I do 20-30% RO water change every 2-3days.

I believe you have plans for expansion? Nanos are not suitable for altums given their long finage. Nice scape too!!

I think a 2ft tank will be more suitable!
    With this setting abit overkill.

The 2nd pix is the full front shot from edge to edge of the tank. Will try to shoot with the full tank shot tonight... in the mean time, you can view the pix here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/c3pio/s...th/6143543461/

Really nice nano, but too small for so many fish.
