Thats a dragonfly nymph. Feasts on anything it can catch
Chances there will be more in the tank. If you want to make them come out you can try to lower the pH. I have found that they don't seem to like that. When I had dragonfly nymphs, every time I lower the pH, I would find the dragonfly nymphs on the ledge of the tank.
I see, having neon tetra won't helps to keep insects laying eggs into the tank? Till date, only this one appear inside my tank, there are more of these sneaking fellow hiding??
Any other fishes to recommend that are friendly to shrimps & keep all insects at bay?
dragon fly nymph is like very serious..do you have dragonflies landing on the water surface of your tank or even any contact at all?
Or do you keep dragonflies as pets..naah just joking ..it might have came in with your plants/media..be sure to quarantine any new inputs before actually putting it into your tank..
Aspiring to be.
Dragon gal I know couple of them but dragonfly?? Nah!!! Ya man, sounds serious!! My neon tetra is useless cannot help to prevent insects laying eggs into the tank.
