Beautiful. Like all the scape that you did... Really awesomeWhich one is the most memorable scape ?
When a habit begins to cost money, it's called a hobby.
excellent set up, you must be a professional aqua-scaper ....
Nice. Keep it up.

Thank you guys.
@ Chris: the most memorable one should be 'Awakening' - judging from the complexity of the set up and the amount of preparation needed, not to mention tedious maintenance regime. ps: also the highest ranking.)
@ Unitedgyc: nope....i am not a professional aquascaper, hope to be one when i retired.)
Stormy... ah...Very high quality and large body of work in very short time! Inspiring as always!

Sifu... what do you do or starve your red plants of, to get them yellow?
Think my plants... starved of anything = get holes.
Are you talking about September? That tank is using EI and 8x39W![]()
yes, Robert... the autumn tank... the background plants...
so EI less iron?![]()
8x39W isn't that sufficient light for 3ft? sorry, know nuts about lights![]()
EI is more everything. The idea of EI is non limited nutrient
normally 4x39 is enough for 3ft, 8 probably because of the yellow plants.
312W for a 3ft?!!!! That's the most I heard of! LOL. Previous was 288W

Speechless... I wish I have 1/10 of your talent..
oh i see... so the secret is not starvation... double the lighting (overfeed!) and 'roast' the plants. 8 hours full blast? Just amazed how you guys experiment. thanks!
*and i can only dream of having such beautiful tanks as my own*
Sorry. side note- For beginner - get all the equipments to get you on the right track. usually the experience ones can do away with CO2, less light, and etc. Because they understand the system. Sadly the downfall of the beginner is they don't get the right equipment. The most basic thing is a fully automatic co2 system and i don't mean a CO2 tank only..

Ann....in my group, i'm actually quite famous for being able to make red plant yellowish! LOL.
i read somewhere, too much N will make your red plant not-red. i'm not blaming it on EI.....but somehow it happened.
Stan....i only use that much lighting power 1-2 weeks before the final shooting. hoping to get the plants redder...guess it didn't work out well. lol.
normally i only use half that amount.
Robert.....nice avatar!)
thank you guys.
