I also got my share of problem..water temp is quite high..around 29-30 most of the time..checking around for the culprit..maybe is due to my submerged powerhead filter. The moss have some brown edges these few days..sigh..looking around for a fan which can fit into my hood...

Puffer won't eat your shrimp??I thought they like to eat shrimp n snails? I heard guppy n Molly are good algae eradicators..maybe u can get some of the them to try out at the same time.. Try to starve ur fishes a bit..u will see ur algae disappear slowly..hehe again, pls don't blame me if ur puffer eat your oto or shrimp for dinner..

Bro, Might Be, I Once Bought A Mini External Canister Filter With Submerge Pumphead, I Wake Up In The Morning And The Water Is Warm. I've Since Remove It And Change To A Normal External Canister Filter. Cost Like 60-70 Bucks?

Mine Is Dwarf Puffer. It's In My Main Tank With Oto/Sae/Cae/Cory/Cardinal tetra/Black Neon Tetra. Oto Is Almost Same Size As Puffer, Puffer Cannot Feed On It. Hahahaha.

The Shrimp Is In My Room Nano. I Wanted To Put Some Sakura Shrimp In My Main Tank But Really Scare The Puffer Will Poke The Shrimp And Make Them Fly... ...

Shunkun, dwarf puffer will disturb other fish??I heard all puffers are aggressive & only eat life food? They look really cute though..

I will touch & check my power head later..sigh..wallet going to shrink again..

When are you uploading your tanks new pic?? The Members here are very helpful..maybe can get a pointer or two for your algae problem. You can't keep trimming your plants...

Just Like Human, There Are Good And Bad. I Am Lucky Mine Didn't Create Much Trouble. I Bought It To Control Snails Problem. But Now Out Of Snails Already. I Bought Froozen Japanese Bloodwoem To Feed It. Seems Like It Likes Alot. My Tetras Are All Very Looking Forward To The Bloodworm Feeding Time Too. Haha.
I Feed 1/2 Piece Bloodworm Day 1, Anothet 1/2 Day 2. Day 3 Will Be Micro Dry Fish Food, So Puffer Will Go Hungry. 4th Day Will Resume Day 1 Routine, And Goes On.

Pictures Of My Tank? Hehe, Perhaps When The Water Wisteria Growd And Attract Algae So I Can Gather Evidence! If Not No Algae To Show !!!

Firstly, I Posted Using My Iphone, And It Says Error, So It Ask me To Wait 30 Seconds To repost.
So I Waited And Repost And When It Bring Me To The Page, Already Double Post. My Bad.

And, Remember I Told You I Trim Alot of The Water Wisteria. The Algae Is On It, So I Cant Find A Spot To Take Picture Of The Algae.
    Clear?
Until All Water Wisteria Grown And Algae Grown Again, I Don't Have Clear Picture Of The Algae.

Water Wisteria Grows Pretty Fast, Can You Imagine I Had Already Done 2 Times Of Trimming Till My Tank is Bold (Cant See Water Wisteria). I Place It Right Behind As Background. Once It Grow Upwards Till The Water Level, In My Case Where I Had Water Current At The Surface Of Water, All The Stems Goes Horizontally Creating An Inverted "L" Shape.

Since They Are Fast Grower, I Don't See Why It Cannot Be Place In Low Tech Tank :P Should be No Problem. I Actually Cut 2 Stem From It And Plant It In My Room's Nano Low Tech Tank. Still Stay In Light Green Color.

Noted, i will go to seaview and try my luck for Water Wisteria ...hehe...where you bought them and how much?
i checked my powerhead..its not hot at all... i then change the direction of my fan..now the temp is 28 degrees..hehe... cold water finally..

my Sakuras are grazing happily on my moss...looks very happy.. no death after molding..haha..
the problem is they don't seem to eat the Corina Shrimp Delight food i bought..instead they chew on the dead leaves of my plants? my greedy neon are feasting on shrimp food...all are like fatty neons..
