    is it possible to grow java moss at 28 degrees with ph 6.8 lighting 1.7w/gal and kh 4.
    cos ive read that java moss only grows at 23-25 degrees

    Yes it'll grow. I had java moss in my tank which averaged 28-29deg. Growth was moderate. I installed 2 dc fans and lowered temp to the present 26-28deg, and the growth is excellent now. Almost an inch every 2-3weeks. Lighting is close to 3wpg with co2.

    One thing weird though, I've read that it grows better in slight shade, but in my tank, the ones directly under the light seem to grow better than those in the shade.
