Try quarantine the affected fish in a separate tank and not overdoes it. For me I quarantine e fish for 1 week then return them to e main tank..
Also, fresh or salt water I don't think it's different.. Adding salt doesn't mean it's only for salt water too..
Be careful with the mess. Overdose will send e fishes to paradise faster the disease.
Take half litre of water from tank, dissolve medicine into it. Pour evenly over the water surface of your tank. Do not over dose. Can repeat treatment if fish still recovered after one round of treatment. Can underdose but never overdose.
