Hi, I have a 2 ft planted shrimp only tank. Recently I discovered alot of white clusters in my tank. Today I tried to stir the cluster then I realize they move! Can't tell what they are but they move together.
I realize there are some seed shrimp in my tank but the cluster organisim are smaller than the seed shrimp. But as a cluster they are bigger.
Does any one have any idea what they are? I am quite worried for my shrimps...

Bro, thanks for the link. But it's none of those... Corepods, I do see some in my tank and they do move around quite abit. And they dont stay in a cluster. What I have in my tank is something that move in a cluster, very very small organism smaller than corepods. Sorry for the pic but that's the best I can take since I m only using an iPhone...
is this spot wally thread?
it really difficult imo
Bro what is Wally thread?
Just an update, I have been googling and looking around, and I still can't find any answers as to what they are. The only way of describing is that they are all clustered up together as shown in the pic. Can't really see them move until u try to disturb them, they will move/ shrink abit ( abit like those worms u see at LFS, when u disturb it, the whole lot shrink, but for this case it's only some parts of it shrink) can't see it as a stand alone organism as it is really too small, and no outstanding features.
Hey AlexHcp
I cannot see much from the picture. I have the same in my nano..... more like a cluster of little white worm like thing. I suspect its baby planarias.....
Planaria? Oh no ..I did see 1 Big planaria - but i manage to catch it out a few days ago .... yeah .. Chris also suspect it might be baby planaria - the problem is there are many clusters of them... any recommendation for killing the planaria without harming the shrimps? - i wont dare to scoop them out as i am quite scare of worms ehh (oops) - need help on this issue...\
once again thanks all for your valuable input...
search hydra your pic too small to tell
Tried searching hydra but nothing look like them... Nvm this week I borrow my friend DSLR see if can capture n super zoom .... In the mean time, I really don't know what I can do with it....
i think at the mean time you can try to clear them off or suck them out if you can see it. If not by the time you borrow the camera to capture it they already reproduce more and fully loaded with pests in the entire tank

Pictures too small to positively identify the "pest" you have, though I suspect they are freshwater bryozoan colonies.
Fish.. Simply Irresistable
Back to Killies... slowly.
Thanks again for all the help, I will try to post clearer pic soon... Hope it will be not harmful to my shrimp...
