Guys
I want to enquire if it is possible to waterproof products not meant for aquarium uses ? In particularly referring to ExoTerra Jungle Vines.
I do know that it is not suitable for aquarium uses but is there a way such as applying waterproofing coat on the jungle vines ? or even applying clear Marine grade epoxy (even if it hardens the vine) ?

I believe polyurethane coating may be what you require. Check the Vivarium section and see the stickies and user threads on what they use for waterproofing their DIY backgrounds for paludariums and such.

Thanks for the advice and reply. Appreciate it!
So it is actually possible ? Because i do not want the metal or any other possible chemical used to leech into the water.
barmby: thanks for the head up cus initially i researched and thought marine grade epoxy is pretty durable and long lasting.
