Can my shrimp Tahan for a hour without Chiller and Filtration????

bro should be can tahan.. unless ur bio load very high... i never had this issue so cant say much......
how about a 10% WC ? clear bio load, freshen up the water ~

Use ice pack if you want to keep the tank cool for that hour.
Your shrimp can take 1 hour without filtration. There is BB in the gravel, tank walls, plants etc. They can handle it. Its only 1 hour. If you are afraid of oxygen, then get a battery operated air-pump and use it on your tank.
However, chances are your beneficial bacteria inside your media might make it in the 1 hour without water gushing through. Maybe not all will die though. I would either take the media out and put it inside the tank, or just leave it alone.See the below thread. This guy's tank was out for 8 hours.

My 2ft tank has got about 50 CRS and one day my mother-in-law accidentally turn off the my extension plug switch which supplies power to my chiller, canister and pump. When I got home and notice it, it was already 5 hours later. No casulties

1-2 hours is not a problem, larger tank can tahan longer

Bro HDB did some upgrading at my block last month the power was shut down for 2 hours. This is what i did.

Filtration open the cover drop in AC operated air-pump
Chiller i set it to 23 and let it run until the shut down happen. After that i wait for the temp to raise 1 degree than i put in 1x 1 litres frozen bottle into tank. all in all okie i only use 1 bottle to maintain until 1.5 hrs later power came back on.

Yes Shrimp all survive but you got KK and Panda so i don't know how will they get affected. I have only CRS,BDS,Tiger...... they all do fine for that 2 hours. Hope it helps

My house electricity went wrong and stopped for few hours, everything still fine after it was restored.
No death.

Bro newlife, i think should be fine as my place ever tripped for about 2 hours and shrimps are fine after that. Just need to reset the timer again for the lights.
maybe you can use some air sponge filter for time being & also can carry on leave them inside to create extra filtration source?

if you are worried, then just get ready some ice pack or frozen bottles of water. too cold might not be too good also, so must monitor.

No choice.. No money pay bills.. unlike you who have, to pay everything except when HDB decided to do maintenance.

Anyway, I can't blame the lightning to strike at night when everyone is asleep to switch the mains back up.

If Sengyong got any problem with the Serangoon district, feel free to call up the MPs here and speak up for the people of Serangoon. Everyone will be greatly happy. Or maybe you can tell the Sengkang MPs that your shrimps are very expensive and cannot afford for them to switch off your mains. They can never compensate you.

talking about timer.. i bought a timer socket for $19 (digital) for my light
its not working .. it doesnt on and off my light at the set time..
anyone knows why?
