I think hair algae is a very common to all moss keepers. There is no 100% eradication of hair algae as they might be anywhere and especially on slow growing moss.
not only LFS will be the one selling hair algae moss, even home grown moss might have hair algae. the only way to prevent is to have a good anti hair algae crew other then monitoring your lights, fertilizer, CO2 regime.
quite hard to have a guarantee hair algae-less moss in my opinion because if a moss doesn't have hair algae in my tank, doesn't mean that hair algae is not going to grow on the same moss if its in your tank.
correct me if i am wrong.

seems like its out of topic again.

hair algae is very difficult to remove by dip itself. your light on timing must be just nice. and best not to dose any fertilizers in the tank to promote algae growth.
