Where to get cheapest complete set of c02?

results nt gd la...
any one of u know where to get cheapest complete set?

how complete is your definition of complete set? []
go to lfses and have a look because there are various available configurations.
one of the cheapest set with the most basic configuraton cost just over $100.

I have success with DIY CO2 in my 3ft. Disadvantage is,
[]24/7 on every morning all fishes grasping for air at the surface (install relieved valve to channel excess CO2 out to atmosphere at night).
[]Secondly, DIY CO2 produce some form of white slime on the outlet, thus ceramic diffuser usually get choke (used sander wood air diffuser got better result).
[] Next, every 2 weeks or so need to premix again (highly dependent on the amount of Sugar/yeast ratio). Then it is quite difficult to get the exact amount of yeast to produce the desired amount of CO2 Output (experience gain over time can let you estimate the amount quite accurately).
[]Finally, the output is abit erratic, as the beginning few days and ending point few days CO2 production is slow (no big deal, when CO2 weak, just mix up a new batch)...

other than that, infact I find DIY is as effective as the Cylinder CO2, if one cope with the above disadvantages. MAIN advantage is SUPER SUPER COST SAVING! $10 of raw material can last you a half a year and beyond.

I upgraded to a Cylinder and find it more convenient to use. It will be even more convenient if you use a solenoid valve

Base on the config, from Cylinder Size, Valve (Manual of solenoid), different brand/design offers different pricing... I wouldn't use the term CHEAP, REASONABLE will be a better word. Try Nature Aquarium, so far i think his pricing most reasonable.

Yes, NA selling plants.

BTW, I'm going tomorrow to get my CO2 kit from NA.

NA seller said the smallest setup for 2 litre is 130...

if u r not a busy man...a solenoid not really neccsary.$130 for a 2litre tank is gd deal.

solenoid valve will be required if you plan to run high co2 (20-30 ppm)and high light tank.
running at such co2 concentration requires the co2 to be shut off during light off.

I don't see the need for a solenoid valve at 20-30ppm range..I have been running it for several weeks 24/7 and folks at AB has done it as well. No issues here unless you push it beyond the 30-35ppm range and have absolutely no surface current. Some current is good for the fishes but not too much though.

let's say co2 is rooted at 25ppm during photoperiod of 12 hours. if the injection rate remains during the light off period, won't co2 concentration rise above 30, 35 or >35ppm? and during light off, most likely there will be negligble surface agitation as fans would most likely be switched off.

I'm curious.. have you ever tested your CO2 level just before lights on? Another question if you don't mind, is your tank exposed to external light maybe some sunlight from a nearby window?

Hee Hee, I dunno whats ur definition either but mine is working on a 2L CO2 tank with electronic regulator, bubble counter and a Co2 dissolver going at 12-1pm, 5pm to 1am. I too put a JBL Co2 canister mixed with my own calculated Sugar solution and yeast powder connected to a bubble counter and small Co2 dissolver going at 24hr. This is for my 3ft.

The 2ft one is using the Nutrafin CO2 canister with DIY CO2.

Yup, all got anti-water flow vault installed.
