Should be enough. I dont like pink color but that just matter of taste

By the way, what is your tank dimension? Normally 2ft is around 60 liters.

My tank is around 88 liters,60 x 45x 42.. Bow front tank..so the capacity is estimate only..I seldom switch On the pink light as it looks weird.. But the neons look nicer though..

Shadow, what tube should I buy if I want to change the pink tubes? I have 3x24 tubes space.. Or should I stick to 2x24 watt as I'm going for low tech??does higher lights help low tech plants?I don't want algae problem in the future..

if you are going for low tech, 2x24 is more than enough. For normal 2ft low tech, I would even consider between 24W to 36W. Your tank is wider, not sure if 1 tube have enough coverage.

If you want to change the tube you can get those OSRAM 6500K to 8000K. If I remember correctly, the 8000K price is double the 6500K at NA.

Bro Shadow, i accidentally bought some glosso, they are growing vertical fast..around 4-5 mm per day...any way to make them go horizontal? change to 3x 24 helps?

3x24 should help for glosso. You can try trimming it, some say trimming will make them grow creeping. Glosso not for low tech though

thats why i say i accidentally bought them..LOL they look nicely light green with small flower buds..

now they are growing well but upwards.. i am using 2x 24 + 1 pink light to try out whether it can grow side ways... the tubes come together as a set..so use it first..no harm with pink lights anyway..LOL

flower buds? are you sure it is glosso? I never see glosso flower

No harm. Actually plant in general like red color spectrum for photosynthesis. I was assuming pink color should have more red spectrum than normal white tube.
