When I returned from work I saw one dead sakura shrimp in my tank.

the carapace is split open at the back of its body. Is this the sign that it failed to molt?

i quickly do water change using distilled water as my tap water Gh is showing 4 :O

I hope it won't happen to my other shrimp

not sure if its dead because of molting .. possible also
i am not sure about do wc using distill water because your tap water gH is 4 and your tank gH?
i have not do a gH test on my tap water, my tank gH is 5 up to 6-7 and my FR is still molting because i had this mineral rock that has calcium oxide and I see them pick on it sometime

    perhaps supplement them with calcium

A friend of mine told me before, Shrimps died not really because of the water parameters not stable... Maybe due to those weeker one or not healthy type.

Tank water gh is at 5, is it acceptable? I already put in mosura sea mud powder when i st up my tank so i think it should be enough, shouldn't it?

3 days past from the day, so far so good... No further casualty yet *touch wood*
