Hypancistrus and Tanganyikan cichlids breeding
Got some to share with you...poison poison poison
More photos, closer up.
Nice! Hope they are not fighting too much.![]()
Not really, just chasing a lot. the biggest male is most dominant...but the smaller males challenge him all the time. So cute to see them chase each other around and flare!!
Keep them longer and you'll have a crowd winner. Many years back saw Johannes's old giant pugnax made me feel like keeping them again but mine are still small. Lurking somewhere in a pot haha un-cared for.
I just hope they don't breed. Won't know where to put them then. I love looking at them, though.
they look great to me ..

Nice set up for your pugnax...when fully colored up they are one of the nicest strains of pugnax to have
Hey oddstamp. You're right...they are so gorgeous. I'm so torn between keeping them and making space for other fishes.
I think you should keep them ~ Not many ppl keep them these days ~![]()
Bro, any extra male to spare?![]()
I have 3 females...sian.
Got. I have several males...I think only one female. Mine are small though, need to let you know. In spite of the small size of the males, they are almost all fully coloured up too.
