Woot! Finally! Hope they do great in your tankwill wait for good news from you eh? What are your parameters now?

Finally, I went to 328 today and got myself 6 more cardinals to join my lonesome dude. I must say, these are not shy at all and prefer to forage in the open. Perhaps to eat microscopic algae from the brown diatoms that was encouraged in my tank.
See for yourself. Second picture is 7 hours after introducing into the tank.

nice scape! good luck on your sulawesi journey.. :_

Thanks Boxedfish! The snails are growing swiftly now... they are eating all the time but seem to prefer ketapang leaves ..... hmmmm

Hey Desmond. Did not realise that even yourself would be looking into the threadI was just looking at some vivariums and green tree frogs.
Not going just as yet... some changes. Now perhaps will make a trip during the school holidays with some new knowledge since this batch looks "happy". I saw a molded shell this morning so I know the cardinals would be okay. Perhaps I will get more native plants and see if I can get them to thrive hereI am also considering some different species of shrimps..... still pondering over which variety.

You can get some White Orchids...

I'll definitely add them if I see any
So far all the cardinals are still around busy grazing all the time. They will move towards the shadow area whenever something big pass by but I think they are quite desensitized since my kids are always moving about. The shrimps will come out almost immediately after![]()

Today, I was at C328 and managed to procure some red line bees. 2 of them are berried and when I got home, I saw a little shrimplet! Happiness... but short lived. After conditioning and releasing into the tank, the little guy settled itself on a ketapang leave. One of my boraras were out hunting and merrily gobbled it up!!!The boraras in my sakura tank doesn't touch the shrimplets at all but then again, sulawesi shrimplets are a lot smaller
. Quickly netted both of them out and plonk them into my 3ft planted tank.
The 2 berried red lines are still keeping the rest of the eggs. Keeping fingers crossed that the remaining eggs would hatch and survive.....
Red lines are the hardest to keep alive. Hoped yours will be alright

Sorry about the little guy... didn't even get to see its new home
Thanks for the advise on the blue leg poso(BLP) and the shrimp food. The BLP are the bravest of the lot. They are always out grazing. Next comes the cardinals which will graze around but like to be closer to hiding places. Red lines tend to be the most shy.
1st picture - cardinal on top of DW. I figure they are all over at night as I see their "evidence" all over the place.... LOL
2nd picture - fav. hiding place
4th picture - blue leg poso roaming around
5th picture - mama red line

Wow your cardinals so brave, let you take photos.
Mine always play hide and seek. Yes BLP like to move around and the bravest of all!
Can check with you, what is the reaction of the cardinals when BLP is near them?
Because i have not mix them together in the same partition.
