Brown algae

Hi all I'm having those brown algae growing on my tank wall and plant... What causes it and how to stop them from spreading???

My tank is cycled for a month using 4x36w pl tube... Soil is Ada 2 and is planted tank... Light on for 6 hours per day with co2 at 2bps...

I just can't stop them from spreading... Please help...

I once faced the same problem till i reduced my CO2 output, the brown algae was significantly reduced.

Hope it helps, i'm no expert and hopefully seniors around can share their remedies with us as well.
