I'm looking high and low for apistos, been to so many LFS... Y618,C328,Seaview,JZX, NKS, Aquahobby but hardly seen even 1 pair!! Seems to have a shipment drought recently. The only place with apisto is JZX with inca pair. I am really keen to get my hands on apisto males!!!
Go over to Pasir ris farmway Aqua 1. They have a tank of Apistogramma that coms together. Most of them are Europe F1 ... Soon the stocks for Apisto will be replenish soon in our LFS.

Apisto are low demand now as not many people are keeping them... Thus lfs are scared to carry them as it might be stuck for very long before it could be sold... Was wondering why not many people into it... Maybe we can push up the species of chiclid and boost up Apisto keeping...
One more thing I'm sure is there is alot of people keeping Apisto in this forum but they are not active that's all...

I am looking for apistos too and notice:-
a) C328
--> 1 pair of Tefe (but Males die last wk tues), left female.
--> 1 pair of Inca.
--> 1 pair of Borelli.
--> and forget 1 pair species.
*update on 27/Sept (tues).
b) Y618, when there yesterday (2/Oct) and ask for any apistos around. But, too bad not a pair at moment.
Looking forward for update from everyone to easier for my search when my tank is ready to keep 1
It is tough. Apistogramma is banned for export in some places in SA.

This is bad news for me.
Actually i was told by genes. and quite true.. no real shipment. but it is very grey law.. you can move the fishes to other countries and still can ship out. remember amazon is cut through several countries.

Anyone know where to get Apisto in Malaysia? I heard it is rather cheap to get there but need to know where the LFS/LFF are located.

Aqua one in Pasir ris farmway have a new batch of apisto just came in. Just saw some like caca, agassii tefe and some others that I'm unsure of the names. Reasonable prices and good condition, I think some looks like breeding mood.
Fish keeping is not a good hobby unless you received support from your family to keep them.
Just came out from Aqua one, the fishes all into tank already and can see many in breeding mood.
Agassii alenquer, tapajos, fire red, double red, tefe.
Viejita, Borellii Opal, Panduro, Bitaeniata, Caca Red, Orange, Trifasciata. Nice colors, sizes and condition.

Just got my pair of apisto borelli opal from Aqua One. I must say the apistos there are very active & healthy but two species mix are together in one tank. The reserved Hongsloi look even better.
