    Hi All,

    Just managed settle living one year in SG.... it seem it right time for me start to setup planted tank again...

    hope to have fun chatting about "poison" in this forum ....

    Do check out the favourite LFS before buying your equipments and stock

    Ya thanks for advice. Managed went to seaview over the weekend and grab some equipment.
    but now still struggling finding suitable rock for my iwagumi setup

    Thanks Robert. I saw the rock too.
    Thinking of bring vinegar to test before I buy them as i noticed certain rock might not suitable for planted tank.

    It sure will increase your pH and kH. I don't really bother with all this, so far all plant that I try never have problem in the tank with those rocks.

    serious..??!!! i have not experience try those type of rock before.

    actually my house do have some rock given from member here. maybe i should trial and error

    did you use PH toolkit (liquid form) put in your tank to monitor the level?

    are you talking about drop checker? drop checker is used to check for CO2.

    wont be effected. Drop checker only measure the ph fluctuation due to CO2 gas. Basically the soluble CO2 gas inside your tank will degas into the drop checker chamber and react with the drop checker solution. Because of this drop checker is not real time indicator.
