Just bought my gH and kH test kit and Tds meter. Calibrated using tds 342ppm solution. Measured and readings for
tank 1 is: gH6 Tds 3100 !
tank 2 is: gH5 Tds 250.
The Tds for tank 1 is super high. Is it ok?

I don't even think it's possible to saturate water to 3000ppm TDS unless it's salt water! Things are still alive in that tank!?
If TDS is so high. is it possible to have such a low gh? My friend having 21 gh run by sera gh test kit and his TDS is about 600 plus. but your gh is 6 and TDS "3100" omg
still learning the hard way!!
Yea I find it weird too! But both tank using same
Test kit leh. Yea there are Crs living in it
Updates. I think my meter works differently when operated on battery and when on AC power. Readings were different. Anyway the tank 1 parameters were taken again: gH6 Tds400. Chilling with 2 fans for about 3 months already.
Is this level still safe for Crs? I see improvement in their colours compare to 2-3 months ago.
Pls advice me! Thanks!

many thanks to AQ and many bros here for teaching me stuffs and sharing with me.
We learn from each other from time to time.
To have better success in your CRS keeping, try not to frequent shift your decoration. This will affect their survival rate.
Wishes you all the best in shrimp keeping in Dragon Year.
