Hmm, i did that last month from Bioplast back to tampines. But then is just a small tank. Is that illegal to carry it in the train/bus ??? So far i only know that bioplast only carry refilling on the spot. The rest are 1 to 1 exchange.

MRT probably cannot, they quite strict. They also randomly check passenger who carry big bag. Bus normally OK, just cover it up. I normally take bus to NA carry 5l tank, I just put inside big bag.

Not very big, around 40cm long. Its those sport bag that you can get from sport shop.
When I put my 2L tank along with the regulator in my backpack and boarded the mrt...I didn't even consider about this question you are asking back then!
Hi guys, thanks for your reply. I asked the Mrt officer this morning about it. He said "cannot!". So, my next question. Is there someone who service and pick it up in your house and refill and deliver it to you? Thank again.
If you stay Punggol, sea view the nearest aquarium shop but its 1 to 1 exchange. Not sure about door to door service but maybe can post in "want" if got bros going to top up, can "tompang" your co2 cylinder
Mine's the bigger cylinder think is 7Kg, and not sure how any liters it is. I was thinking of using those push trolley used for marketing to transport my cylinder on MRT!!
I seldom see these bigger cylinders being top up at LFS, if its 1 to 1 exchange, will I get back the same size ?
I have been using the taxi from simei to boon keng and back. Or when I am in luck, just tumpang my colleague car for top up run. Better to have extra co2 tank at home to minimise the need to top up the co2 to at least once a year. In the past, used to have a member here who does co2 top run but due to fuel price increase in cost, he stopped the service. One of our member here also has an interesting tale while doing his co2 top up run with a friend in a car.

I appreciate all the advice and reply to my questions. Thanks Guys
just tell them simple terms that they (mrt staffs) can understand.
like air for fish tank / non-poisonous / non-explosive.....
bring along a big bag to avoid being too conspicuous.
I have seen bus driver asking a passenger what were those whey protein tubs. It is the size of it that attracts the attention and the potential threat or lack of knowledge of it.
