pardon me but have you ever thought of doing away with the acrylic and use rocks instead? Thought that it will look more natural.
Just my 2 cents worth...

yes. Stack the rocks. NO need to use silicone. Then in the rock pool, you can put leca and pumice stone to raise to create a sort of underwater reservoir. On top of the leca and/or pumice stone, then you top up with normal garden compost. If you need my help, let me know.
ThAnk for viewing. I don't intend to plant any plant in the land area cause my tank is small... Don't have enough place for the fbt to run around...
Thank for your reply... I dont know which compost to use that y i use acylic to separate the land and water to avoid spoiling the water.. May I know where to buy pumice stone from? So I can try it on other project.. By the way do you have the picture of the normal garden compost?
Nice froggy! Or toady.
Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and he will drink beer while getting sunburnt.

Cool - I think I will change my frog tank into a 2ft - bigger is nicer
You can try getting those coconut husk with moss on them as hideouts for your critters, I'm sure they blend in with your tank! Nice, neat and simple! I prefer Jungle style though. =)

my current tank is very zen with chengal wood as the base and to provide a stand for my frogs to rest on.
it looks like more nice what you did to the tank?
Do you have a picture of your tank layout to show?
Thank.. The right hand side slope use to be a water fall area, once I change the pump to a smaller flow rate pump it flood my land area.. Got to forget about the waterfall idea and plant some of the Plant on the slope and change the whole layout..
