my wooden shrimp was missing from the usual spot when i was back
i look around my nano tank .. still cant find
i look if it crawled out ... around the tank ..
then gave out till i found something on my black carpet
the dead wooden shrimp , dried, head crushed
rewind
the wooden shrimp crawled out of the tank thru the branch , then on to the HOB , then off the 30 cm height lack, on to the carpet, crawled at least 2m away before ending up at the spot before i walked in and literally crushed it by stepping or throwing my bag on it. (it was dried and dead before i crushed it accidentally)

My amano shrimp managed to leave my room, crawl across the hall and into my mum's room before dying there. Took days before I found it
Mine too. I didn't count them for 2-3 weeks but I notice quite a big drop in number. I look around and under the rack, found 5 dried shrimps. Heartpain.

thats like 7-8 meters of crawling
any idea why they will do that?
i realise only the big hardy shrimps will do that?
i also read CRS crawling out of the tank.
is it a sign that the water quality is not good?
Shrimp under great stress will try to crawl out of tank.often cause by large WC.
i think your water is very bad
I think xmant got it right
I did change 30% - 40% WC after suspecting of pesticide from LFS plant
used dripping method.
still wood shrimp didnt like the new water .. escape from it
