Aponogeton undulata (Aponogeton stachysporus)
It should send out flowering stalks during propagation.
Well, I got the plant when it's just about 1cm in size. It was mixed in-between a bunch of Java moss when I got the moss from a friend.
When I saw the plant, it's leaf texture was so different and I decided to plant it in my tank. The texture on the leaf makes the plant looks like a plastic plant!
It propagate by sending a stock with a planlet growing on it. Take a closer look at the picture 2 where there are 3 stocks of plantlets growing out.The plant don't send out flower stocks like Aponogeton species. It also do not have a bulb below.
Anyone have any idea what plant is this?
Au SL
Echinodorus berteroi
Cellophane sword plant

It's Aponogeton stachysporus which sends out adventitious plants on flower stalks. Very easy to reproduce, becomes a weed. Commonly available in Thailand.
I've already stated that it don't send out flowering stock. The plantlets just grow on the small stock within the water column.
Au SL
Right. No flowers will be seen, just adventitious plants growing on the stalk in the water. Nonetheless it is called a flower stem.----------------

Also no bulb may be seen, just roots. But they can grow a bulb too. New plantlets sometimes grow a small bulb just a few millimetres across. These may drift around and settle somewhere in the aquarium, and will develop into larger plants. I believe the bulb develops as the plant grows larger. The plantlets may not have them.
Take a look at Aponogeton undulatus in the Dennerle website. Aponogeton stachysporus is a form of this plant which displays the rectangular translucent leaf pattern that can be seen in the pictures. This plant has to be far and away the easiest of the aponogetons to reproduce.
Here is a link with a (small) picture of the plant...

And according to their website, Pe-We Alley are selling this plant...
Interesting colouratiom, does Teo's have them?
...I love rubies too ...

I got something similar to this from Teo's a year back. However, it did not establish itself well in my tank. Thus, mine has longer leaf stalk and leaves are not as broad as the ones in the pics.
Cheers!
actually, it do look like an aponogeton sp to me.
As for the bulb issue, I had a Aponogeton undulata once. It sends up adventitious plantlet like a echinodorus, and if the plantlet is replanted at a very early stage, the bulb is not actually/fully formed. It also did not put out any bloom stalk at all.
Now, I have a matured plant in my colleague's tank, propogated as mentioned above. It is just like an normal rosette without the characteristic bulb.

Hi all,
I had written to Tropical to ask them some questions on the reclassification of Ludwigia Sp Cuba as a variance of “inclinata”. In my mail I asked about this plant, this is reply from Mr Martin from Tropical.
This plant might look different from undulates, who knows this might be a result of mutations. Who know if this plant is not found elsewhere in the wild, the scientist might call it Aponogeton Undulatus Var Singapore or Aponogeton Undulatus Var Ausl. :LOL:Ludwigia Sp Cuba has been identified as an "inclinata" The plant on the photos are an Aponogeton Undulatus. However it is a varigated type and they can differ a lot.
