1st picture is Cyperus helferi or other Cyperus species
2nd picture, I saw 2 different plants, the left hand side with rounder leaf and spiky ball, not a clue what is that. The right hand side is Staurogyne
I recently bought two plants out of love at first sight.
1st photo shows grass-like plant with split ends or was it their flower?
2nd photo show a round leave plant with flower that look like small green rambutan. Adorable.
Anyone knows its name and tried growing them before? Are they foreground plants or will they grow tall or creeps on the ground?
Thanking you in advance..

Thanks bro. Yup! the package written on that spiky-ball plant said "new" and it was written (E.mini radican) which I have googled but yield not much result from internet. So I presumed is a new kind of aqua plants they just brought in at seaview?
Staurogyne is a creeping plant I have good success in my old tank, grow well in low tech tank and create nice foreground too.

I hope your tank is big because Cyperus can grow guite long![]()

Hi Bluebubbles, I am sorry to hijack your thread. But I have some questions for Shadow, regarding Staurogyne. How can I propagate Staurogyne, and why is the leaves turning yellow at the bottom stem but growing new green leaves?? Is it because there is not enough of fertilizer?? I am dozing BW Lush daily as I have Fire Red Shrimps in the tank.
Also, I have Drawf Harigrass in the froeground, but is growing slowly. How often do I need to trim it to encourage it to grow and cover a larger area faster??
Lastly, I think I have Jungle Val also ( not sure what is the name ). It is a stem plant but long leaves. How do I propogate the Jungle Val?? Can I just cut the stem mid section and plant the cut stem into the soil??
Thank you for your help on the above. Appreciate very much any advise!!

It's simple...but no one said it will be easy
