    Re: Shrimp nano tank

no it wont survive .. for long
unless there a lot of plant that gives oxygen like ricccia .. blah m which means that should be strong light for photosynthesis
Give it a month and the bottom gravel will be filled with waste that decomposed and give carbon dioxide
too much carbon dioxide, too little oxygen , the shrimps die

basically at least buy a HOF which is cheap. and cycle the tank. then the chances of surviving increasing a lot

bro siraj, i hope you will get atleast a sponge filter to filter the water. Keeping fishes and shrimp is a responsibility of us pet keepers and its best to provide them comfortable living conditions.. just my 2 cents.

Just add a small sponge filter in the tank. At least that can provide much needed oxygen and helps filter waste. They produce a lot of waste very fast so you'll need to be prepared to work.

Depends on what plant you like also bro. Usually, shrimp tanks include US Fissidens, Various Moss types (java, spiky, taiwan)
If you like to add on air pump, can use sponge filter or UGF (under gravel filter), although HOF/ canister filtration is sufficient. IMO as long water parameter is taken care of, the shrimps will even breed. Cherry/sakura shrimps quite hardy
