its normal , give it some time the fine particles will settle down

just started a new 3ft tank and put 3 large bags of ADA Amazonia II soil in and added some water. Noticed the water got lots and lots of fine particles, and even look like a cupa of diluted Java coffee, leaving a ring of dirt on the tank.
Tried running the filter to remove some of fine particles, and letting the rest settle down. But each time the soil gets disturbed a cloud of fine particles gets kicked up.
Is this normal? How do you deal with this fine particles and prevent it from easily dirtying the filter?

The normal way is put the soil, plant your plants densely, cover the exposed soil area with plastic or newspaper and finally pour your water slowly on top of the plastic or newspaper. If you do it correctly, it should be clear from the start

Thanks... This is my first planted tank....so I guess this is normal.
I did put the plants in (for now it's only sparsely planted) and pour the water slowly onto a plastic cover... but after re-arranging some of the plants and DW, a lot of the fine particles got kicked up again.

yeah that one more thing that shouldn't do, re arranging underwater. Nothing to be worry about, just make sure your filter have those white color fine filter wool. That should filter the particle.
