hi, u may want to add in more water and a bubble air stone for air circulation. thats the laziest way.
you way of doing it is also ok, but more prone to fungus attack and bad water quality as too low volume of water.
I collected about 15 eggs which were dropped by a berried/gravid female vampire crab from a water dish in the tank. I have put the eggs in a container with a very little bit of water.
Has anyone got any experience in incubating vampire crab eggs?
I do not know if the eggs are fertilized. Looking at two through low powered magnification (8X) (highest I have), there appears to be a black dot and brown thread-like things in the jelly-like content. No wriggling or movement detected.

No fungus. But there's been no change for many days so I put them back into the water dish for the crabs to eat or for nature to take its course. I suspect the eggs were dead to start with. There are actually 2 black dots, probably eyes.
Hoping there are more eggs which the female is still carrying.
