    Hi all,

Is it normal for the electric CO2 regulator to feel hot and with a mild shocking sensation when you touch it.
In fact, the whole CO2 tank has the shocking sensation.

    I got mine from Nature.

    Thks.

    Yap. Me brought from NA.

Actually, this is the second one.
The first one from NA that i used less than a week melted.
It also had this same shocking sensation.

The second one that i used yesterday (after changing) also had the same shocking sensation. Me stop using immediately because i don't want to spoilt it again.

    Going to NA later.

    Hi all

Me came back from NA already.
This is really strange. Chan tested it and there really is a current flow. This means that there is a short circuit somewhere. But when he reversed the plug connection which means that he took out the plug and reconnected it back to the same power supply in the opposite direction, the current is gone.

In other words, the plug can only be connected in one direction. Anyone can give an explantion?

Anyway, me changed it for some other stuff. Still don't feel safe about it. Thumbs up for the good service that Chan provides.

Yup, that's what he asked me to do with mine too. Just flip the 2-pin plug around and the current seemed fine. I suspect the problem might be due to lack of grounding, but I'm no expert with electrical stuff. Still a little phobic about touching the cylinder and solenoid.

This is new to me. Form what I know, the solenoid is just a coil. In which ever polarity, it should work the same. Seriously no idea why there is a leakage current.
    Cheers!!

if you connect equipment to a three-prong outlet, better check that the outlet has been grounded properly. I had a similar problem with my zip drive. I opened the outlet, and found it's not grounded at all I reconnected the group cable, and I have no problem since then.

If I stick one end of a wire to the metal cylinder and the other end to the 'Earth' of a 3 pin plug, is this considered as earthing?
