Seeing that the main component of the ADA is BIoRio pomice, I decided to use it in my filters.
This material is very porous and light, which may even float on water.
It is very economical, but there are quite a few times to rinse it with water before use to remove the large amount of dust it contains.
And it's easy to find as it is also used by growers of bonsai and construction.
Acid does not react and I have not noticed that modify the values of the water.

I think I have a variant of this material, redder in color, in my filter trays. I was never sure what material the Eheim Ehfilav is made up of anyway, but it suits my purposes very well. By the way Carlos, nice timer unit in one of your pictures on your site.

Are you using bio pellet too?
If you've learnt, teach, if you have, give.
Don't walk behind me as I might not lead, don't walk in front of me as I might not follow. Walk beside me, as my friend.
Mohamad Rohaizal is my name. If it's too hard, use BFG. I don't mind.
