No, this thread is not about why my glosso is growing upwards, rather i'll like to ask why my glosso have "big" leaves.

I've seen one of the tank by another forummer, his glosso leaves are very small and compared to mine, mine's at least twice his size.

I'm wondering if there's 2 kinds of glosso (which i don't think so) or is the size of glosso leaves affected by lighting, fert etc?

His is a 4x1.5x1.5 tank and mine's a 2x1x1 tank. Both tanks using PL lighting, his 6x36watts and mine 2x36watts.

    Please advise.

It is not surprise to find a number of variety of glossostigma sp. Even marsilea has several kind which many LFS can't decide which name to use; they look alike. There are tons more species of aquatic plants out there, either not suitable for aquarium cultivation, or undiscovered yet.

There are some around which i am not sure if they are available here in singapore :
    - Glossostigma diandrum
    - Glossostigma longifernia
    - Glossostigma elatinodes

After some quick search on the web, this is what I see. More out there.
