After 9 days. All my cardinal shrimps purchased same time as Jovel are gone.
Today saw the last 2 bodies.....
Tested water parameters
ph : 7.5~8 (drip, cannot really tell the colour difference)
KH : 3
GH : 7
NO2 : 0
Temperature : 29C
All parameters looks ok. But still.....

Hold on bro. Don't give up just yet! Did you cycle the tank long enough? What are you using for filtration, substrate etc. Food you are feeding? Do you use chemical products ? Even things like hair spray near the tank. List everything out and we're here to advice!
Shouldn't try so many pcs for a start. It hurts. I used to try only 1 pcs, if not successful still not so painful to the wallet. I see your temp also quite high....

one thing is never use chemicals in a sulawesi tank, confirm will have casualties. They're really sensitive. Try more powdered base food like mosura shrimpton & gravadias. As cardinals are more fond of planktonic food and too shy to come out to feed. these cherries could be feeding away their food source as well. Actually I got most of my shrimps from Y618, about 21-22 by now, another 11 from petmart. One thing is that im only free on weekends and C328 probably lost all their stocks/ healthy ones to others, other is that you can sit on a stool and slowly view to spot the healthier shrimps. Choose those shrimps that are active and keeps picking for food, moves around and not stay still for a long time. check their colours and body for parasites, lost limbs/antennas or injuries. and make sure you acclimatise them well before introducing them into your tank. Normally I drip about 1 drop / 3-4secs for 2 hours, in a dark room/container.

One more parameter which I view is important is the TDS. Did you check that?
Yea, TDS needs to be checked.
Also, for such an old tank, what is the depth of the substrate? Is the bottom looking reddish brown? If so, there may be sulphur building up, although since the rest of the shrimps are fine, this should not be the case.
Lastly, is the GH correct? I read that sulawesi lakes have very low GH.
What is your survival rate for y618 and pet mart ?
I run chiller because in my house the water temperature can run up to 30+ c .
I might try y618 again. But usually they don't have much selection left. Like you, I can only go on weekends. Hence I like pet mart arrangement . But if not healthy, no point.
No. I never check tds. Don't have the meter. Is it very important to check tds ?
I though gh and kh is alright to be on the higher side? After all, they like alkaline water and these parameters cannot be too low to achieve that.
by the way, sulawesi snails are more hardy? they seem ok and active ( touch wood).
sulawesi snails are very hardy... no matter how many shrimps die, they still around, happier because they will get to eat the dead ones...

You do not need chiller.
I go check if I got the test kit. As for the chiller, I used to have crs. So currently still linked up. Lazy to dismantle. Moreover, the temperature of my tank water can go up to 30-31C easily, so I use the chiller to control about 28c .
Temperature at 30-31 should be not issue.

Recently I also had a big setback. My 6 cardinal shrimps that is very hardy for 2 months were all lost last month.
All just slowly die off. My parameters are as such. Don't know what is the problem.

From the looks of it, might be your ph and tds too high. But then again, I never succeeded in keeping the shrimps, so who am I to give advice
