Daphnia magna is much bigger than the Moina micrura we get locally in Singapore, so these are mostly only suitable for fry with larger mouths.

Oh dammit!! I just caught this thread and I'm soooo envious. Wished my D. magna cultures didn't crash during those hot spells many moons ago.
Those in the video are really thriving but it seems to be a public park pond. Bikersoy, any chance of you sending some live starter cultures over to Singapore? I'd love to give it another shot but under air-conditioned environment.

I have no problem in sending, but drained the pond and now I have to send cultivation.

Perhaps it is easier to grow other species, find it on ebay Freshwater artemia
